Leftwards Pushing Hand: medium skin tone

leftwards pushing hand with U+1FAF7 depicts an open hand angled as if pressing or shoving toward the left. It represents a directional push, a stop signal from the right side, or the act of moving something away in that direction. People use it to mean “push it over,” “move back,” “back off,” “not this,” or “keep it away from me,” often with a joking or mildly forceful tone. It works well in reactions where someone is rejecting an idea, setting a boundary, nudging a conversation aside, or miming physical contact in text. It is frequently paired with the rightwards pushing hand to suggest a high five, squishing, holding space between two things, or framing another emoji or word. Support is newer than many hand gestures, so older systems may show a missing symbol rather than the intended hand.
