Leftwards Hand: light skin tone

leftwards hand with U+1FAF2 shows an open hand pointing or reaching toward the left, palm facing partly outward. It is used on its own as a directional cue, but it also pairs with the matching rightwards hand to frame something between them or suggest holding, offering, or presenting an idea. In messages, it can mean “look over here,” “this one,” “back that way,” or “handing it to you,” depending on what sits beside it. People place it next to text, links, screenshots, names, or other emoji to draw attention, and in playful posts it can help build visual jokes, mock signs, or imaginary hand gestures. It is especially common in emoji combinations where two hands point toward each other around a word, face, heart, or object, giving a cute, awkward, pleading, or “for you” tone. Skin tone versions are often used when the hand is meant to feel more personal or human, rather than just acting as an arrow-like marker.
